Christina G. Jimenez, Esq. is a partner at De Socarraz & Jimenez. Christina joined the firm as an associate attorney in February 2012. Christina practices solely in the area of matrimonial and family law, focusing on complex and family law matters including divorce, equitable distribution/property distribution, child custody, alimony, child support, paternity, timesharing issues, parenting plan, marital settlement agreements, enforcement and modification matters, and pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
Christina received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Florida International University College of Law. During law school, Christina was a board member of the Florida International University Law Review and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Frank A. Shepherd of the Florida Third District Court of Appeal. Christina was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2010, and was admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2011. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. Throughout her career she has been a member of the of the First Family Law American Inn of Court, Cuban American Bar Association, and has provided her services to the CABA Pro bono Project to represent clients who cannot afford the services of an attorney.
Christina is a Miami native and proud alumna of Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. During her free time, Christina enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Carlos, and sons, Tomas and Mateo.
